2025 Memorial Day Grand Marshal

David Schlothauer, Nancy, and their daughter Julie moved to Park Hills in 1973. Now, 52 years later, David and Nancy still live in the same house on Cleveland Ave, however, their home has gone through multiple renovations and improvements. Immediately after settling into Park Hills they became active residents, including David’s 2+ year stint on Park Hills City Council in the mid-70’s and their membership in the Park Hills Civic Association (PHCA).  In 1975 David assumed leadership of the Park Hills Memorial Day Events and played an integral role in raising its local and regional significance. After 50 years of commitment and leadership to the City of Park Hills, David Schlothauer has been named as the 2025 Grand Marshal and will be recognized during the 2025 Parade and Flag Raising Ceremony.
