Luminary Night rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21 at 5:00pm

This is a magical night for viewing your city streets lit up with luminaries, and participate in festivities to celebrate the season. As luminaries line our charming streets, we share joy with our annual Christmas in the Park. Come together with neighbors and friends on a night filled with candlelight and enjoy the sights of the holidays. 

• Help our city glow by placing candle-lit bags along the street in front of your home. To make it easier, Luminary Kits can be purchased online this year, beginning Sunday, November 30th. You may also order via the order form below. Street Captains will be available to help you. A Street Captain is a volunteer near you who has offered to help distribute luminaries on your block. For more information about Luminary Night, please contact the Avant Gardners, c/o Carol Bethel, clbethel@fuse.net. *This is a fundraiser brought to you by and for the Park Hills Avant Gardeners, who tend to the city’s beautiful gardens all year.
• Christmas in the Park will not be rescheduled this year. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Luminary Kit Order Form

Each kit contains 12 bags and 12 battery tea lights. Luminary kits will be provided in 3 forms: (1) battery tea lights with plain white bags, (2) battery tea lights with a decorative star cutout on the white bags, (3) 1 dozen plain white bags. No kitty litter is provided. Sand will be available in buckets placed on various streets around the city. Please take what you need for your bags. Note: the battery lights can be used multiple years as the battery life is 150+ hours. All proceeds benefit the beautification efforts of Park Hills. Carriage Ride Reservations

Carriage Rides are from 6-9pm with rides every 20 min (last reservation is at 8:40pm). Reservations are $10 per person (children under 2 are free). We cannot oversell the carriages due to weight restrictions for the horses, so please make sure you purchase a ticket for every rider. 

Please check-in with a member of the Civic Association at the Lady of Lourdes Church on Amsterdam Rd. at least 5 minutes prior to your reservation. 

Walk-up rides are not guarenteed. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ups but reservations are strongly encouraged.

Christmas in the Park

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting with residents young and old from 6-8pm in Trolley Park. Stop by to tell them your Christmas wish list and grab a cookie and hot chocolate as well!

The Trolley Park Tree Lighting will take place at 5:45pm to kick off the evening. Come help us sing some seasonal favorites!
